It took me two days to find this song that was used on Being Human. I rewound and rewound my DVR, because the the music was used just perfectly with the few scenes encompassed by the song. The beautiful vampire female fearful of what may happen if she doesn’t follow through with her handler’s command; violently using her feminine sexual prowess to please her john just before fatally tearing into him.
My favorite scene used with this song was the guilt riddled ex-fiance reliving his fatal mistake – fatal to his fiance. A bright sunny day next to the river alone with his anguish, guilt and confusion pasted over his face with each note somehow highlighting each emotion swirling round his head. In this distance, past the river, is a group of medium sized skyscrapers and high-rise buildings representing the world around him, and how distant it is from his reality. How much he wants to be a part of the city; he wants the normalcy that once bored him. He then tosses the engagement ring he purchased for his fiancee. The ring that has returned to haunt him; to remind him of the transgression he doesn’t intend to pay. The arguable murder of his once beloved fiancee. The camera pulls back to see him alone in this beautiful setting that he cannot enjoy.
I believe the editors used this beautiful, ominous track perfectly to describe the emotions of the individuals. To create a feeling of hopeless guilt and fear coupled with gorgeous scenery to contrast the feelings. Absolutely wonderful. None of which would be possible without this wonderful music.

I too have been searching for this song since I heard it on BH!!
I was frantically googling “from an iron flute that shakes the trees from stem to root” as that was all I could recall, but with absolutely no luck.
Today I noticed a new song on syfy’s playlist which led me here.
Worth the trouble
